Contemporary Barn Conversion

About This Project

Our London client wanted to achieve a contemporary ‘look and feel’ within a listed Barn Conversion in Devon.  Essential to this objective was intelligent lighting control, to show off the best features of the property, with a distributed Audio and Video system allowing the owners to enjoy the highest quality wherever they are in the home.  Anthony Gallo speakers were chosen because of their contemporary look and sound quality, set pleasingly upon the original oak beams within each of the areas.  Another client requirement was the inclusion of a Home Theatre within one of the rooms, whilst not creating a dedicated Cinema Room.

Through clever use of lighting, shading, and a hidden projector screen, we were able to create a cosy cinema space for use in either the daytime or evening, whilst retaining a usable family room at all other times.
